Our story starts with Joe, our founder and keen home cook. While searching for healthier, natural alternatives to seed-based cooking oils, Joe began exploring traditional fats like beef tallow. He was drawn to its stability, nutrient density, and time-tested use in kitchens for generations. What began as a quest for better cooking soon revealed something even more remarkable: tallow’s incredible compatibility with human skin.

Inspired by how closely tallow’s fatty acid profile mirrors our skin’s natural sebum, Joe started experimenting with rendering high-quality suet into pure, nourishing creams. The results were transformative - deep hydration, soothed irritation, and a healthy glow without synthetic additives. Having a young baby at the time, he was amazed at the superior natural alternative that tallow gave to the heavily processed and synthetic nappy creams currently available. That personal discovery sparked the creation of our brand.

Today, we handcraft every jar of our cattle cream in small batches from our family home in Kent, because quality always comes before quantity. By keeping production intimate and intentional, we personally oversee every step - from carefully rendering the suet to gently blending the final product - ensuring nothing but pure, potent goodness reaches your skin.

Our tallow comes exclusively from local, grass-fed beef suet. We partner with trusted farms in our region that raise cattle the right way: on pasture, grazing freely, without grains or unnecessary additives. This makes our tallow richer in vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with beneficial fatty acids like CLA and omega-3s - nutrients that deeply hydrate, support the skin’s natural barrier, reduce inflammation, and promote a radiant, healthy glow.
